Abstract
Après les premières expériences des années 1980 et 1990, où le politique s’était emparé du religieux, des Églises évangéliques ont décidé d’investir le champ politique en empruntant une autre voie de politisation. C’est par le judiciaire qu’elles ont choisi de participer au champ politique, dans une volonté de conquête des Cours de justice, lesquelles ont été ainsi politisées selon une nouvelle modalité. Cependant, au-delà des discours se trouvent des groupes de pression et des intérêts de classe issus des grandes familles de l’oligarchie. C’est une forme de populisme chrétien qui se manifeste, en particulier au travers du soutien évangélique à un projet de loi s’inscrivant dans la lignée des mouvements conservateurs, opposés à la « théorie du genre », contribuant à un « nationalisme chrétien ».
