Abstract
Le présent article analyse l’impact de la gouvernance coopérative sur la transition vers des systèmes agroalimentaires résilients, durables et équitables. La gouvernance coopérative, caractérisée par sa nature démocratique, transparente et équitable, est présentée comme un levier essentiel pour équilibrer les relations de pouvoir, mobiliser les communautés et encourager la participation active des membres, notamment des femmes et des jeunes. À travers des entretiens et des exemples tirés des projets menés par SOCODEVI dans divers pays, l’article illustre comment cette forme de gouvernance favorise la durabilité écologique, l’inclusion économique et l’équité sociale. Les coopératives, avec leur structure unique, sont mises en avant comme des modèles capables de répondre aux défis actuels et futurs des systèmes agroalimentaires.
