Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran BASARNAS Mataram dalam menjamin keselamatan wisatawan dan mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaannya ditinjau dari Undang- undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 29 Tahun 2014 tentang pencarian dan pertolongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Normatif Empiris dimana jenis dan sumber datanya adalah primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukan berdasarkan Undang- Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 29 Tahun 2014 Tentang Pencarian dan Pertolongan, didalam pasal 45 para pihak pengelola / penyedia jasa pariwisata dituntut untuk wajib memiliki sumber daya manusia yang kompeten sebagai langkah awal mencegah Resiko kecelakan wisatawan di daerah wisata yang beresiko tinggi. Dengan mensosialisasikan Undang-undang, memberikan pelatihan dibidang SAR (Search and Rescue) kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat khususnya penyedia jasa pariwisata. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan Badan Nasional Pencarian dan pertolongan (BASARNAS) Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan Kelas A Mataram Dalam Menjamin Keselamatan Wisatawan Ditinjau Dari Undang-undang Nomor 29 Tahun 2014 Tentang Pencarian dan Pertolongan: a. Mendirikan POS SAR di daerah rawan kecelakaan, b. Melaksanakan siaga SAR melalui siaga SAR, c. Melaksanakan operasi SAR, d. Meningkatkan dan mengembangan SDM petugas SAR dan sarana dan prasarana secara professional, sinergi, militan, serta santun, e. Mensosialisasikan UU. No. 29 Tahun 2014 melalui Rapat Koordinasi SAR, Pemasyarakatan, dan Penyuluhan di bidang Pencarian dan Pertolongan, f. Mendukung program-program pemerintah, dalam rangka ikut serta dalam memajukan dan mempromosikan pariwisata Indonesia, membangun kemitraan Pentahelix untuk mencegah, menanggulangi, dan memberikan edukasi kebencanaan kepada masyarakat.
