Abstract
Malgré une mobilisation sans précédent des universitaires québécois en sciences de l’éducation contre le projet de loi no 23, celui-ci est adopté en décembre 2023. L’intention du ministre de l’Éducation est d’instaurer plus d’efficacité pour assurer la réussite des élèves. Quelles sont les raisons qui incitent les universitaires à se mobiliser ? Quelles stratégies utilisent-ils ? Notre article répond à ces deux questions. Notre approche théorique s’inspire de la sociologie des mouvements sociaux. Notre méthode relève de l’analyse documentaire et de l’observation participante par opportunité. Il ressort de l’analyse qu’une majorité d’universitaires en sciences de l’éducation est contre le projet de loi et que leur mobilisation est attribuable à des facteurs idéologiques de résistance au changement proposé.
