Abstract
La crise sécuritaire au Sahel aurait débuté à partir de 2012. Depuis, la région ne semble connaitre qu’une succession de crises, notamment au Burkina Faso, au Mali et au Niger. De nombreux universitaires et observateurs adhèrent de plus en plus à l’idée qu’il y aurait un enchevêtrement de crises au Sahel. Cette idée entre en écho avec le concept de polycrise. Cet écrit collectif propose de discuter l’utilité de la notion de polycrise pour cerner la réalité actuelle au Sahel. Peut-on parler d’une polycrise au Sahel ? Quels en sont les déterminants, les facteurs et les effets de cette polycrise ? Comment nos discours et interventions dans la région participent-ils à cet état polycrisique de la région ? Ce commentaire collectif a pour objectif de débattre et réfléchir à cette notion de polycrise pour qualifier, expliquer et penser autrement la situation régionale au Sahel.
