Abstract
PetitionForUsersRights The Canadian Digital Copyright Forum has posted a draft of a petition to Canadian parliament arguing against suggested copyright legislation in Canada, posed in response to a recent ruling that file-sharing systems do not break the law. The petition alludes to another recent Canadian court decision, CCH Canadian Ltd v Law Society of Upper Canada, which many saw as jointly respectful of rightsholders and fair use.
