Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Quarter life crisis is a critical transition period often experienced by college students, characterized by worry, anxiety, and lack of self-confidence. Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to overcome challenges. This study aims to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and quarter life crisis in fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Nursing Study Program. This study used a quantitative-correlation design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 75 fourth-year students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire consisting of the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) and the Quarter Life Crisis Scale (QLCS). Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that 48.0% of respondents had a high level of self-efficacy, while 45.3% experienced a moderate level of quarter life crisis. Spearman Rank analysis indicated a strong negative relationship between self-efficacy and quarter life crisis (p <0.000; correlation coefficient = -0.666). These findings underscore the importance of developing self-efficacy in helping students cope with quarter-life crisis. Self-efficacy-based interventions, such as counseling programs, can be an effective strategy for students' psychological well-being.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
