Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen AKMIL dalam mendukung pengembangan budaya ilmiah yang kuat, profesional, dan sesuai dengan standar nasional yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi melalui sistem akreditasi SINTA (Science and Technology Index). Sosialisasi ini bertujuan menyamakan pemahaman seluruh tim pengelola jurnal, termasuk dewan editor, reviewer, dan penulis, mengenai standar dan persyaratan akreditasi nasional. Materi yang dibahas mencakup pengelolaan editorial berbasis Open Journal Systems (OJS), proses peer review yang objektif dan transparan, manajemen metadata artikel, pemenuhan unsur etika publikasi, hingga strategi peningkatan visibilitas dan sitasi jurnal. Dalam kegiatan ini juga diberikan simulasi evaluasi mandiri untuk mengukur kesiapan jurnal dalam menghadapi proses akreditasi. Selain sebagai bentuk pembinaan internal, kegiatan ini juga menjadi forum untuk memperkuat koordinasi dan kolaborasi antar unit pengelola jurnal di lingkungan AKMIL. Dengan adanya kesamaan persepsi dan pemahaman terhadap standar akreditasi, diharapkan jurnal-jurnal di AKMIL dapat memenuhi kriteria penilaian yang ditetapkan, baik dari sisi tata kelola maupun kualitas konten ilmiah. Lebih jauh lagi, akreditasi jurnal bukan hanya menjadi simbol mutu, tetapi juga menjadi pijakan penting dalam mendukung reputasi akademik dan kontribusi ilmiah institusi di tingkat nasional. Dengan sinergi yang kuat, konsistensi pengelolaan, dan komitmen terhadap peningkatan kualitas, AKMIL optimis bahwa jurnal ilmiahnya dapat terakreditasi dengan baik dan menjadi rujukan akademik yang kredibel dalam bidang kajian militer dan pertahanan negara
