Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

A two wheel drive quarter scale tractor was designed, developed and tested successfully by the Belangtara 2002 team to participate in the ASAE Quarter Scale Tractor International Student Design Competition at East Moline, USA from 30 May to 3 April, 2002. The tractor was equipped with a 16 hp gasoline V-Twin Vanguard 303447 engine, Firestone 26 x 12-12 floatation rear tyres, and Dunlop 14 x 5-6 front turf tyres. The tractor has a wheelbase of 85 in., ground clearance of 4 in. hitch point height of 13 in. The overall construction of the tractor consisted of a chassis, power transmission system, steering system, and brake system. The design of the tractor followed the competition's rules and regulations, and all relevant ASAE standards. Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Prokon Structure Analysis, MathCAD and AutoCAD software were utilised in the design of the tractor. The developed tractor was designed to give a maximum pull of 600 lb under Class I category (950 lb) and 705 lb under Class II category (1150 lb) without losing its longitudinal stability. The tractor's instrumentation system was capable of measuring and displaying drawbar pull, rear wheel torque, rear wheel slippage, travel speed as well as capable of triggering an alarm at any preset drawbar pull, rear wheel torque and 2-planes axis slope threshold values. Field trials demonstrated that the tractor was able to function successfully without giving problems in the short-term performance test before its shipment. The tractor when field-tested under Class I category was able to achieve a maximum pull of 696.58 lb at rear tyre slippage of 24 per cent. Keywords: ASAE, quarter scale tractor, chassis, power and transmission, instrumentation

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
