Abstract
La mémoire sonore des magazines de bande dessinée. Que nous apprennent les magazines de bandes dessinées sur l’univers sonore de leurs producteurs et lecteurs au moment de leur publication ? Cette recherche s’appuie sur un échantillon de trois années de la collection Van Passen, une vaste collection de périodiques de bande dessinée, majoritairement en français, conservée à la bibliothèque de la Faculté des arts et de philosophie de l’Université de Gand. 56 numéros ont été sélectionnés, en 1937, 1966 et 1995, pour faire l’objet d’un dépouillement intégral, incluant tous leurs contenus sans distinction de genre : éditoriaux, informatifs, publicitaires, ludiques et fictionnels. À partir de ce corpus de presse populaire, cet article reconstitue une mémoire sonore du xxe siècle préservée par les magazines francophones de bandes dessinées.
