Cet article explore de manière inédite la contribution de Villa-Lobos pour la danse scénique en mettant en lumière sa collaboration avec d’éminents chorégraphes russes tels qu’Adolph Bolm, Léonide Massine, George Balanchine et Serge Lifar, qui ont diffusé sa musique moderniste non seulement au Brésil, mais aussi à l’étranger. Cette recherche nouvelle révèle une richesse chorégraphique insoupçonnée et des projets artistiques pertinents, bien que parfois non aboutis, qui pourraient être examinés de nos jours.
