Abstract
L’adage veut que l’ethnographie ne s’apprenne que sur le terrain. Cela dit, peu d’études se sont penchées concrètement sur la forme que prend cet enseignement hors de la salle de classe. Grâce à un exercice réflexif mené conjointement entre deux professeur·es et quatre étudiant·es, cet article avance qu’enseigner l’ethnographie est un processus relationnel : il suppose de tisser des liens de confiance avec les autres membres de l’équipe de recherche, avec les personnes sur le terrain, ainsi qu’avec ses propres connaissances et expériences. L’article souligne aussi l’importance de l’apprentissage et de l’accompagnement in situ et la nécessité de dépasser les rôles traditionnels au sein des équipes de recherche.
