Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Soft haptics has been developed with XR technology and human-machine interaction, providing tactile and kinesthetic feedbacks. For realistic tactile sensations, it is essential to implement various types of haptic feedback. However, haptic interfaces that provide multiple tactile patterns have limitations in that they are bulky, uncomfortable to wear, and do not adhere well to the skin. The cork structure, with a Poisson's ratio of 0 (ZPR), which does not decrease or increase laterally when deformed, has inspired the design of SMA wire knot structure in a ZPR meta-structure. The objective is to develop an easy-to-wear haptic interface that does not require pressing or loosening of the skin, creating unique 2D and 3D sliding tactile feedback dependent on the induced current magnitude. It can deliver the shear sensation in a virtual reality environment and provide directional spatial information for robotic teleoperation.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
