Abstract

Resumo:Le présent travail analyse la gestion des agroécosystèmes à Haïti principalement à Haut-Limbé sur le plan social, économique et culturel. Cette région se caractérise par une agriculture traditionnelle divisée en zones agro-écologiques et par une pluralité de cultures agricoles et de produits typiques. Elle couvre 23,95 km2 avec prédominance de relief, de montagne et possède ses propres caractéristiques agricoles, sociales et culturelles. Ainsi, des entretiens ont été menés auprès de 30 exploitants agricoles familiaux afin de distinguer à quel niveau la vie sociale, économique et la dynamique historique et culturelle des familles ont des influences sur les agroécosystèmes. Les parcelles agricoles des chefs de famille ont été localisées et mesurées par le logiciel de géolocalisation GPS Map Ruler (Android). L’outil cartographique (QGIS 3.10) a été utilisé pour la saisie de données géographiques. Nous avons observé que les agriculteurs maintiennent encore les pratiques agricoles de leur ancêtre pour la gestion des agroécosystèmes, pourtant à cause de manque de support (assistance technique, banque agricole, irrigation, indisponibilité de main-d’œuvre) leur effort est insuffisant pour augmenter leur rendement et garder un capital économique équilibré.
