Abstract
Cet article s’intéresse à l’autorité pédagogique de l’enseignant.e en arts, plus particulièrement dans ses dimensions charismatiques, afin de documenter et décrire la façon dont il ou elle la vit et l’interprète. Nous examinons les notions d'aura de Walter Benjamin et d'autorité rationnelle d’Erich Fromm pour analyser les témoignages de dix enseignant.e.s de musique et de cinéma, qui travaillent dans des établissements collégiaux et universitaires, partagés dans le cadre de groupes de discussion. Les résultats abordent les spécificités identitaires et pédagogiques de ce domaine particulier de l’enseignement, en mettant surtout en évidence la nature fluide, relationnelle et complexe de l’autorité, ainsi que le rôle du charisme, dans la relation pédagogique.
