Abstract
A 33-year-old gravida 0 with unexplained infertility underwent controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) with oral letrozole between cycle days (CDs) 3–7. Two dominant follicles were noted in the right ovary via transvaginal ultrasonography (TVUS). Timed intercourse was recommended between CDs 11-15. Her urine ovulation test was positive on CD 12, and her serum progesterone (P) was 40 nmol/L on CD 17. Serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) on CD 30 was <3 IU/L. She reported light menstrual bleeding on the day of her negative pregnancy test, and initiated her second COS cycle three days later.
