Abstract
Autoimmune rheumatic diseases often coexist in different clinical contexts. It can be in the form of the same disease in several relatives, the so-called multiplex families; in the form of different autoimmune diseases in members of the same family; or the presence of autoimmune rheumatic and nonrheumatic diseases in the same patient or in their relatives.
