Abstract
Parmi les différentes formes d’intervention s’adressant à des personnes engagées ou à risque de basculer dans la radicalisation violente qui ont vu le jour dans la dernière décennie, le mentorat a été présenté comme une avenue prometteuse pour briser l’isolement et améliorer l’intégration sociale. Cet article se penche sur un programme de mentorat destiné à des personnes suivies par une équipe clinique spécialisée en radicalisation violente au Québec (Canada). Il rapporte les résultats d’une étude qualitative menée auprès de mentorés, de mentors et de superviseurs cliniques ayant pris part au programme. L’analyse de quinze entretiens individuels semi-structurés et de deux groupes de discussion soulève la question du cadre implicite que le mentorat en contexte périthérapeutique suppose. La flexibilité de ce cadre est notamment discutée dans ses apports comme dans ses limites. Les implications de ces résultats pour une pratique de proximité qui mise sur un rétablissement des liens sociaux sont par la suite abordées.
