The Arts Assembly's "Fresh Air" residency project, 2025, explores how to curate for fluid access, prioritizing inclusivity and accessibility in artistic and movement programming. Rooted in ongoing dialogues with artists, designers, and access consultants, this initiative builds on Arts Assembly's history of collaborative programming. Key foundational projects, The Longest Way Round is the Shortest Way Home and Remote Research Residency, highlight the organization’s commitment to fostering support structures and accessibility in the arts. By embedding accessibility into the core of the residency, Fresh Air aims to challenge traditional curatorial practices and create space for experimentation and inclusivity.
