Abstract
Abstract We present evidence for the existence of a second supernova remnant (SNR) in the nearby dwarf galaxy IC 1613 based on data obtained with the imaging Fourier transform spectrometer SITELLE at the Canada–France–Hawaii Telescope. Located near the western edge of its host galaxy, this shell-like structure with a diameter of 55 pc exhibits distinctive SNR spectroscopic features including a high [S ii ]:H α ratio, the presence of the [O i ] λ 6300 line, and a significant velocity dispersion.
