Hablar sobre la primera infancia es referirse a una etapa llena de asombros, descubrimientos y vínculos socioemocionales. Durante este tiempo, el niño no solo va armando su propia comprensión sobre el mundo, sino que además desarrolla sus primeras maneras para comunicarse (Zapata y Ceballos, 2010). Es un periodo muy especial, porque cada gesto pequeño, cada sonido o cada palabra apenas EXPERIENCIAS EN EL QUEHACER DOCENTE ECUATORIANO104balbuceadas significa un paso grande hacia estructurar su lenguaje y también su pensamiento. Justo ahí es cuando aparece el juego, que se vuelve un recurso clave para desarrollar ese potencial comunicativo que todos tenemos desde nuestras raíces.
