Cette recherche visait à comprendre le point de vue de finissants en enseignement sur leur formation initiale au regard de leur préparation à l’insertion professionnelle. Deux cent douze finissants d’universités québécoises ont répondu à un questionnaire en ligne et neuf d’entre eux ont pris part à un entretien individuel. Les finissants considèrent que les stages préparent à la « vie réelle » d’un enseignant. Ils apprécient plusieurs activités et cours de leur formation, tout en reprochant à l’université d’être trop éloignée du terrain. Des suggestions sont formulées pour améliorer la préparation des futurs enseignants à la profession
