Abstract
By contributing to the relational turn, this forum strives to address how we can practically decolonize and indigenize the field of German studies, as well as related fields, such as European studies, cultural studies, and migration studies. How can we build collaborative, supportive, community-oriented, participant-centred, Indigenous-led and arts-based methods into the teaching and research of German studies? With our contributions, we hope to participate in an ongoing ethical relational engagement that brings about behavioural change in regard to how we undertake our academic work, be it teaching, research, or administration.
