Abstract
Mayoritas penduduk Indonesia yang beragama Muslim serta semakin tingginya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap prinsip-prinsip syariah dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan menjadi peluang untuk menjadikan properti perumahan syariah menjadi pilihan utama dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan papan bagi masyarakat. Dalam perkembangannya, properti perumahan syariah mempunyai peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Peluang berupa pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah penduduk muslim, kebijakan pemerintah, kerjasama dengan perbankan syariah, pembiayaan properti didasarkan pada prinsip syariah, serta peran masyarakat ekonomi syariah, sedangkan tantangan yang dihadapi adalah kesadaran masyarakat tentang syariah masih kurang, regulasi pemerintah yang belum optimal, keterbatasan produk syariah, dan persaingan dengan properti konvensional. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara dokumentasi atau studi literatur melalui buku, media elektronik serta sosial media. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan sektor properti perumahan syariah di Indonesia menawarkan peluang yang menjanjikan yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi dan demografi, regulasi, kolaborasi dengan lembaga keuangan syariah, pembiayaan berdasarkan prinsip syariah. Tantangan dari properti perumahan syariah adalah pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat masih kurang, regulasi yang belum optimal, keterbatasan produk keuangan syariah dan harga properti yang kompetitif. Strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan dengan peningkatan literasi masyarakat, perbaikan regulasi, kolaborasi keuangan syariah, dan inovasi produk pembiayaan untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang kondusif bagi pertumbuhan sektor perumahan syariah.
