Avec un demi-siècle d’existence, le Groupe de didactique des mathématiques du Québec (GDM) a atteint un certain degré de maturité par sa vitalité démographique, et surtout, par la qualité et le volume de ses activités scientifiques. Dans ce contexte, un constat a émergé au sein de la communauté du GDM concernant le nombre restreint de revues scientifiques publiant en français des recherches en didactique des mathématiques, que ce soit au Québec ou dans le reste du monde francophone (Benoit et al., 2017).
