Abstract
Les études de cas en éthique climatique sont assez peu fréquentes dans la littérature présentement disponible, et les outils d’aide à la décision éthique ne sont pas encore assez mobilisés dans cette littérature. À ce titre, cet article vise à examiner un terrain d’adaptation aux changements climatiques située dans les Alpes suisses (Guttannen) dans le cadre duquel des instruments de prise de décision éthique sont conçus pour informer et accompagner l’action climatique et la gouvernance locale. Pour ce faire, deux modélisations d’éthique pratique seront mises à profit dans la présente analyse, soit l’éthique environnementale pragmatiste et le principalisme méthodologique. En plus de préciser la manière dont une telle harmonisation des orientations morales peut fonctionner lorsqu’elle est appliquée à un contexte climatique particulier, nous explorons, tant du point de vue normatif que descriptif, les divers enjeux de valeurs et de justice climatique soulevés par les conditions réelles du terrain étudié.
