Abstract
L’impact de l’industrie de la construction sur l’environnement représente une préoccupation montante, caractérisée par une contribution majeure à la génération de déchets, aux émissions de gaz à effet de serre (GES), ainsi qu’à l’exploitation des ressources naturelles. Un inventaire publié par le Gouvernement du Canada (2022) a révélé que ce secteur est le troisième plus important émetteur de GES au Canada. Confrontée à cette problématique d’envergure mondiale, l’industrie s’est orientée vers l’adoption de certifications environnementales visant à améliorer sa performance écologique. Aux États-Unis, le Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) et en Europe, la certification Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE) illustrent ces initiatives. Le présent projet de recherche se focalise sur l’identification des facteurs facilitant et des barrières entravant l’adoption de comportements écoresponsables chez les professionnels et travailleurs du secteur de la construction. Pour ce faire, une revue de littérature a été réalisée pour la collecte et l’analyse des données, se concentrant principalement sur les publications scientifiques parues entre 2009 et 2023. L’objectif de cette étude est d’approfondir la compréhension des dynamiques comportementales relatives à l’environnement au sein de l’industrie de la construction et de contribuer à l’élaboration de stratégies pour une pratique plus durable et respectueuse de l’environnement.
