Abstract
In this paper the author shares his experience of participating in the Creativity Center initiated by the London Mayor’s Office, where, as the chief analyst of this project, he not only stood at the origins of the formation of the municipal creative industry, but also laid the foundations and sustainable connections for its development. It is noted that in terms of content and functionality, the activities implemented within the Center have much in common with the concept of noonomy developed by Professor S.D. Bodrunov. The focus is on the freely organized creative activity of innovators, around whom conditions are created for the full realization of their potential. In this context, infrastructure becomes decisive, not limited exclusively by market incentives. It generates not only space for creativity, but also communication links between different creators included in the program of creative regeneration of the urban environment. Thus, creative industries represent an “ecosystem” connected at the micro-, meso- and global levels.
