Dans cet article, un dispositif multimodal de négociation de l’orthographe grammaticale, développé dans le cadre d’une étude, est présenté. Ce dispositif, qui vise l’amélioration de la réflexion métalinguistique d’élèves en difficulté en orthographe grammaticale, a été développé pour le contexte de l’orthopédagogie. En amenant les élèves à négocier l’orthographe grammaticale, l’oral et l’écrit sont reliés. Nous présentons le dispositif développé dans le cadre de la recherche et, plus précisément, la place qu’y occupe la littératie médiatique multimodale. L’article se termine sur des pistes de réflexion concernant l’intégration de la LMM en orthopédagogie et la négociation de l’orthographe grammaticale auprès d’élèves en difficulté en orthographe grammaticale.
