Abstract
This project explored how placemaking principles and participatory art can transform dental offices into engaging and collaborative environments.Over four months (May -September, 2014), 15 patients and four dental specialists co-created digital storyboards, building connections and reducing anxiety within the space.By integrating art and storytelling, the initiative enhanced patient engagement and learning.The findings demonstrate how creativity and collaboration can redefine a healthcare space as an inclusive place that fosters a sense of community.
