Abstract
Este trabalho objetiva discutir os principais desafios das práticas escolas frentes às desigualdades sociais, culturais e econômicas que permeiam a sociedade brasileira. Assim, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de cunho qualitativa, tendo como fundamento autores como Libâneo (2010), Laval (2019) e Kassar (2012 e 2016), de forma a promover uma reflexão crítica sobre o tema. Evidencia-se que o debate sobre as adversidades que impedem que a educação seja verdadeiramente inclusiva e voltada para a diversidade é imprescindível, considerando as contradições que permeiam esse espaço, principalmente com a perpetuação de políticas neoliberais na educação. Por isso, torna-se fundamental ampliar as reflexões sobre o campo das políticas públicas educacionais e do trabalho docente que é impactado diretamente por elas, de forma a contribuir para uma sociedade que valorize a diversidade ao invés de negá-las, promovendo a justiça social e uma escola que não exclua, mas inclua em todos os sentidos.
