Abstract
Abstract: A lost inscription (CIL X 1074d) records the complex spectacles offered by Aulus Clodius Flaccus, a leading magistrate of Pompeii during the Augustan period. This paper explores the many deliberate connections made in these spectacles to the new Augustan regime in Rome and to the newly renovated Temple of Apollo in Pompeii. Abstract: Une inscription perdue (CIL X 1074d) rapporte les spectacles complexes offerts par Aulus Clodius Flaccus, un magistrat important de Pompéi pendant la période augustéenne. Cet article explore les nombreuses références délibérées faites à travers ces spectacles au nouveau régime augustéen à Rome et au temple d'Apollon récemment rénové à Pompéi.
