ABSTRAK Yogyakarta merupakan daerah di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki beragam desa wisata yang sudah dilengkapi oleh berbagai fasilitas dan atraksi yang unik serta menarik. Desa wisata di Yogyakarta memiliki potensi untuk menjadi destinasi untuk penyelenggaran event MICE yaitu perjalanan insentif. Contoh desa wisata yang memiliki potensi besar untuk pengadaan perjalan insentif adalah desa wisata Tinalah di Kulon Progo dan desa wisata Nglanggeran di Gunung Kidul karena dua desa tersebut sudah memiliki berbagai macam fasilitas yang memadai dan atraksi yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini sebagai upaya megidentifikasi secara lebih detail potensi yang dimiliki, dengan demikian maka dapat diketahui karakter desa wisata yang dapat menjadi destinasi perjalanan insentif. Kata Kunci : Desa Wisata, Perjalanan Insentif
