This article builds on a community-engaged project which seeks to examine the role of pleasure reading in the lives of French-speaking youth in the anglophone province of Ontario, Canada. This article documents the importance of participatory approaches with youth, and how centering their voices can result in powerful knowledge mobilization and advocacy opportunities. During the post-data collection phase, youth were involved in analyzing the multimodal data and co-create deliverables geared at public librarians. Both the approach and the experience shed light on the role of youth as active contributors in reimagining library services that reflect their unique needs and aspirations.
