Abstract
L’éducation postsecondaire représente un placement familial. Peu importe qui en assume les coûts, les études supérieures supposent certains choix qui ont parfois des répercussions importantes sur la vie des jeunes adultes ainsi que sur leur famille. Même si l’obtention d’un diplôme ou d’un certificat d’études favorise l’accès à l’emploi et à des revenus plus élevés, il n’en demeure pas moins que les études supérieures ont un coût dont il faut tenir compte. À cet égard, les familles sont souvent appelées à jouer un rôle de premier plan pour épauler les étudiants dans la gestion de leur budget.
