Abstract
En art contemporain, l’installation parvient à modéliser un nouveau monde caractérisé par une pluralité d’espaces matériels et imaginaires qui fonctionnent comme un ensemble cohérent incorporant le·la spectateur·trice en son sein. En tant que monde à explorer physiquement, l’oeuvre fonctionne comme un activateur sensoriel et affectif. En mettant l’accent sur les recherches plastiques de Bruce Nauman et plus particulièrement sur sa série Corridors (1969-1974), le présent article explore la manière dont ses réalisations, qui prennent la forme de dispositifs immersifs, interrogent le rapport du·de la spectateur·trice à l’oeuvre tout en instaurant de nouvelles possibilités de réception.
