Abstract
The goal of this investigation is to examine the relationship between politically connected board of directors and firm value of the listed companies in Tehran stock exchange.The locative domain is all the listed companies in Tehran stock exchange, and the time domain is between 2011 to 2015.The current research is a kind of practical investigations, and is descriptive and non-experimental (field and survey research) in terms of the nature of the research.And also, it is descriptive and survey research in terms of the goal and the kind of collecting data, respectively.105 out of 439 firms were selected as the sample based on the systematic elimination method.The statistical analyses were performed through EXCEL and EVIEWS 7 software.The obtained result suggested that there is a significant relationship between politically connected board of directors and firm value of the listed companies in Tehran stock exchange.
