Abstract
Verena Doelker-Tobler (1932–2018) prägte das Schweizer Fernsehen über Jahrzehnte als Pionierin des Kinder- und Familienprogramms. Mit pädagogischer Leidenschaft, unermüdlichem Einsatz und einem feinen Gespür für Inhalte, Formen und Talente ermöglichte sie innovative Formate, förderte junge Kreative und setzte sich für ein Fernsehen ein, das bildet und bewegt.Als Leiterin der Abteilung Familie und Bildung stärkte sie ab 1980 insbesondere das Vorabendprogramm. Sie initiierte zahlreiche Eigenproduktionen, darunter beliebte Serien wie Besuch im Zoo oder 3-2-1 Contact, sowie gesellschaftlich relevante fiktionale Produktionen wie Peppino oder Flucht mit Luzifer.
