Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Labakkang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 76 guru sekolah dasar yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling menggunakan rusmus slovin. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner untuk mengukur motivasi, disiplin kerja dan kinerja guru. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Selain itu, disiplin kerja juga ditemukan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Secara keseluruhan, motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Labakkang. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan motivasi dan disiplin kerja dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru sekolah dasar yang berada di Kecamatan Labakkang. Oleh karena itu, baik pihak sekolah dan dinas pendidikan perlu memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar pada upaya peningkatan motivasi dan disiplin kerja guru untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik. This study aims to analyze the relationship between motivation and work discipline on the performance of primary school teachers in Labakkang District. This research uses a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 76 elementary school teachers who were selected using non probability sampling technique using slovin rusmus. The research instrument used was a questionnaire to measure motivation, work discipline and teacher performance. While the data analysis technique used is inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that motivation has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. In addition, work discipline was also found to have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Overall, motivation and work discipline together have a positive and significant influence on the performance of primary school teachers in Labakkang sub-district. This finding indicates that increasing motivation and work discipline can significantly contribute to improving the performance of primary school teachers in Labakkang sub-district. Therefore, both the school and the education office need to pay greater attention to efforts to increase teacher motivation and work discipline to achieve better quality education.
