The corresponding hydroxycarbamate is produced using carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) and hydroxylamine and then reacted with mesyl chloride under standard reaction conditions to afford 2,2,2‐trichloroethyl‐ N ‐mesyloxycarbamate (eq ). 1 image Purification: trituration in hexane or flash column chromatography on silica gel with 20% EtOAc/hexane as eluant. Handling, Storage, and Precautions: stable at room temperature under inert gas for several months.
