Генетическое разнообразие является ключевым фактором, обеспечивающим здоровье, адаптивный потенциал и выживаемость любых популяций. Высокое генетическое разнообразие создаёт основу для устойчивого развития популяций, в том числе домашних животных. В данной работе проведён обзор генетических исследований структуры популяций различных национальных пород собак, рассмотрены основные закономерности и факторы, влияющие на уровень генетического разнообразия. В обзоре приведены данные, полученные с применением современных методов генетического анализа, включая оценку наблюдаемой и ожидаемой гетерозиготности, а также расчёт коэффициентов инбридинга, что позволяет детально оценить степень генетической вариативности в популяциях. В работе также проведён сравнительный анализ генетической структуры казахских национальных пород собак тазы и тобет с другими известными породами. Рассматриваются проблемы, связанные с ограниченным генофондом, возникающие в результате исторической изоляции, селекционных практик и сокращения численности пород, что приводит к повышенному риску наследственных заболеваний и снижению адаптивности. Обсуждаются стратегии по расширению генофонда через контролируемое скрещивание, инбридинг и сохранение редких генетических линий, предлагаются подходы и рекомендации для эффективного и устойчивого разведения пород. Результаты генетических исследований важны для сохранения биологического разнообразия, и могут быть использованы в ветеринарии и в племенном деле. Они вносят существенный вклад в разработку эффективных программ сохранения и разведения пород, поскольку позволяют повысить устойчивость к внешним стрессовым факторам, снизить вероятность возникновения генетических дефектов и обеспечить долгосрочное сохранение уникальных генетических ресурсов национальных пород собак.
