Le jeu vidéo Assassin’s Creed Odyssey se situe en Grèce en 431 avant Jésus-Christ, lors de la guerre du Péloponnèse. La poétesse grecque Praxilla est l’héroïne d’une extension. L’article s’interroge sur ce choix, au croisement des game studies, des études sur la didactique, des études de genre et des recherches sur la fiction et la réception. Il est un trait de la réception des poétesses grecques qui n’a pas changé : elles sont souvent le prétexte à des discours engagés ou à des expérimentations novatrices. C’est le cas pour l’extension Praxilla’s Legacy.
