Quelques pistes pour une approche fonctionnelle des titres de séries télévisées contemporaines

Abstract
Dans un contexte marqué par une concurrence proliférante, les titres des séries télévisées, qui constituent la première accroche pour les publics ciblés, occupent une place prépondérante au sein de diverses stratégies de harponnage paratextuel. Leur fonction publicitaire est surinvestie et s’entremêle avec leurs fonctions narratives et esthétiques, à tel point que la séparation entre texte et paratexte peut paraître difficile à établir. Cet article entend proposer quelques pistes pour étudier le feuilletage fonctionnel des stratégies d’intitulation à la lumière de la relation protéiforme que le titre noue avec le contenu des séries télévisées qu’il désigne, en prêtant attention à ses lieux et à ses moments d’apparition, ainsi qu’à ses usages socionumériques.
