Écrire l’oralité créole. Étude du répertoire de Félix Modock (1885-1942), conteur antillais propose une analyse de la genèse de ce répertoire original, tout en soulignant l’importance du contexte de production et de mise en écriture de ces récits, traditionnellement oraux. Particulièrement bien documenté et stimulant, le livre examine en profondeur une œuvre méconnue et apporte un témoignage important sur la tradition orale, pan fondamental de la culture martiniquaise.
