Abstract
L’avortement reste une question sensible et controversée, suscitant d’intenses débats entre des points de vue philosophiques, éthiques et juridiques fondamentalement divergents. En République démocratique du Congo, le régime juridique qui lui est appliqué se caractérise par une interdiction stricte inscrite dans le Code pénal, le Code de déontologie et la Loi sur la santé publique. Toutefois, cette interdiction fait l’objet d’exceptions visant à préserver les droits des femmes à la vie, à la santé et à la reproduction, comme le prévoient les lois nationales et l’article 14.2 (c) du Protocole de Maputo. Cette étude examine le cadre juridique de ce système.
