Abstract
This short visual essay takes up the ways that time orders perception in Liu Xiaodong’s illustrated journal entries and oil paintings titled In Between Israel and Palestine (Citation2013). It asks after ‘Palestine time’ as it is represented and embodied in Liu’s project, how it differs from ‘Zionist time,’ and the human stakes for all of us in occupying Palestinian multiplicities of time.
