Abstract
El presente libro, organizado por Carmem Lussi, del Centro Scalabriniano de Estudos Migratórios de Brasilia - CSEM, nace como una “contranarrativa”, un análisis de la coyuntura y las tendencias migratorias que busca cuestionar y complejizar los enfoques superficiales y a menudo manipulados de esta cuestión. Sabemos que no hay narrativas neutrales: cada punto de vista es siempre la visión desde un punto específico. En el caso de este libro, la perspectiva tiene dos prioridades: el rigor académico y la universalidad de los derechos humanos. El rigor y la honestidad intelectual van de la mano con el compromiso con los derechos de los pueblos, las personas e incluso el planeta Tierra, nuestro hogar común. Por eso, además de cinco artículos que abarcan las distintas zonas geográficas del planeta, abordamos algunos temas que consideramos prioritarios, como el cambio climático, la feminización de la migración y las luchas de los migrantes.
