Abstract
Este artículo pretende participar de una conversación abierta sobre el uso poético y político de la cursilería en la poesía de Berta García Faet. Dividido en dos partes, primero, ofrece una introducción contextual a la obra de la autora y, segundo, presenta un repaso histórico y teórico del concepto de lo cursi con el fin de elaborar una contracrítica a otro artículo publicado recientemente, argumentando que la categoría de lo cursi es central para comprender su poesía. El uso consciente y político de estereotipos, normas de género y clichés asociados a la feminidad resulta crucial, y la sugerencia de otros términos para abordar estas poéticas (como la ligereza) se revela insuficiente o desacertada.
