« Ce projet spécial trouve son origine dans le premier colloque à Grenoble en 2000, où une délégation de jeunes enseignant.e.s québécois.es était venue suivre diverses activités avant le colloque officiel de EMF. L’idée de ce projet spécial est de créer des liens entre les enseignant.e.s participant.e.s de différents pays (voire de susciter des engagements dans des formations à la recherche en didactique au niveau maîtrise et doctorat). Sauf exceptions, l’expérience a été renouvelée à tous les colloques EMF suivants avec, à chaque fois, une vingtaine de participant.e.s provenant d’une dizaine de pays de la francophonie. [...] »
