Abstract
Cet article examine deux tendances parallèles dans la stratégie politique d’aide internationale du Canada : l’adoption d’une politique d’aide internationale féministe et la création de deux nouveaux vecteurs pour fournir des « financements innovants » : FinDev et le Fonds Égalité. Nous décrivons comment les approches financières innovantes poursuivies par ces institutions – dont le financement mixte et les investissements à optique de genre – financiarisent l’aide internationale et menacent d’exacerber la dette et les inégalités systémiques plutôt que de favoriser un développement social.
